I wish my collection fit in a drawer. My collection is huge lol! I want to decrease my collection by half so that when we eventually move it's not taking up a lot of space. Funny enough, Big Bubble wants me to keep my dvds on display, since he knows how much I love them. But I assure him that I believe a giant wallet of some kind will probably be best. Less space and easier to search through. It's just finding the right type of wallet.

Oh, mine is pretty huge, too. I have over 250 separate videotapes or DVDs logged in an Excel spreadsheet. The dresser I have them in now is just very large itself, and thankfully most things are DVDs so they're slimmer to store.

I don't know where you can find them any more, but when I travel and take DVDs with me I take them out of the cases they came in and put them in those hard plastic cases that people used to carry computer disks in. They take up a lot less space that way. If there is information on the original cases that you want you can take the original case apart and cut the paper info out and put it in the smaller disk case with the disk. Also, could the DVDs on the floor just go in a plastic milk crate that sits on the floor? Finally, I did buy a cheap storage/shelving unit online a couple of years ago, and it's worked fine. It has not come anywhere near falling down or falling apart.
