Favorite weight lifting books, apps, programs

What is your favorite book, app, or paper workout that you like for lifting weights? Here are a couple that I've heard good things about:

Books: Strong Curves by Bret Contreras, Thinner Leaner Stronger by Michael Matthews

Apps: Sweat App (has BBG & PWR workouts), Emily Skye has an app

Paper workouts: Venus Index, Nia Shanks

I don't have experience with any of these, just throwing a couple out there that I've heard about. I'm starting to get back into gym workouts and I guess I'm just wondering what people are using to plan their gym workouts?

My favorite books have got to be Jim Stoppani's Encyclopedia of Muscle and Strength along with the already mentioned Thinner Leaner and Stronger.
And of course the New Rules books.

App: don't really have a favorite, but I guess My Fitness Pal and Chronometer are ok.
If you don't mind paying for access, Jim Stoppani has a website and app you pay monthly for but you get all the programs, articles, workouts, eating advice. Worth every penny for me.

Paper programs, again, I consider the books to be paper programs.

I have Strong Curves and its excellent. The form pointers are fabulous. I did a 12 week beginner rotation (included UB and LB) and had good results with definite booty lift. Also I wasn't as stiff and sore as I was from doing Cathe's full body workouts. Every exercise has 2-4 color pictures for it-and detailed instructions. The workouts took me about 40 minutes including the suggested warm up, glute activation and stretching. I would have kept on with it except its boring to work out without a video!! Still, the form pointers I learned have made my other workouts more effective. Especially with the deadlifts.

I lost many pdf books a while back, but kept various bound books at my hometown. Need to make an assessment about what I have. I met Pauline and Stoppani in person during a fitness convention Pauline was kinda fun because I used to read all about her. Not so much now due to lack of time.
