There's been quite a bit of deviation from the books this season (in fact, half of last week's episode including the Walking Dead meets Lord of the Rings scene, isn't from any of the novels), but I'm looking forward to tonight's episode to see how things are handled. I'm on the West Coast, so will check back in after it airs in my neck of the woods.

I'm to understand that the white walker battle happened off screen as it were in the books. But I'm not sure.

I know the show is deviating from the books. While a lot of stuff is being changed or left out completely, I'm happy (in that 'OMG I can't believe this is happening!' kind of way) with how the show is going. It's one of my favorite shows! I'm only sad that it's just a 10 week run and in one week it'll be another year until it's on again.

I haven't been too keen on the show this year. I don't find the new characters in Dorne to be all that interesting for one thing. Arya's storyline is slow moving unless something happens next week. Dani's storyline also has weaknesses, though last night's climax was awesome.

I don't have HBO so I wait until it's on Blu-Ray and then my husband I watch it. I have heard this season is very Daeneryes-heavy and she is BY FAR my least favorite character.
 Is she featured a lot in season five? Thanks!

Last nights episode was so good. Ten episodes is just not enough. I love the two sisters story lines, Arya and Sansa. I also love Daenerys and her dragons. Can't wait until next week!!!!
