What about an every other day approach so you take 60 days to finish instead of 30?

I agree about the knees. I don't want to wear away the cartilage in my knees and I think this could do it.

Here is another one of his challenges http://bretcontreras.com/the-30-day-...utt-challenge/

I bailed on about day 10. I was doing 1 hour workouts at the time and couldn't keep up with this as well.

I may do it again soon

Oops! Thought this was a 30-day GLUTEN challenge!

Never mind...

I completed the 1st 2 and now I am on day 16 of this one. I incorporate it with my other training. I think Brett is da' man!

Some thoughts on doing a challenge like this without this much volume.

First, instead of modifying Bret's challenge, look at this challenge:
http://www.100squatsaday.com/

Second, if you like the idea of combining two exercises like Bret's challenge, try something like:
10 squats 10 hip thrusters
20 squats 20 hip thrusters
30 squats 30 hip thrusters
40 squats 40 hip thrusters
50 squats 50 hip thrusters
10 bulgarian squats 10 one leg glute bridges
OFF
then work your way back down
50 squats 50 hip thrusters
40 squats 40 hip thrusters
30 squats 30 hip thrusters
20 squats 20 hip thrusters
10 squats 10 hip thrusters
20 bulgarian squats 20 one leg glute bridges
OFF
10 squats 10 hip thrusters

Facebook also had their own challenge, and it would be the easiest:

I'm on Day 18 or 19 (I forget which and at the moment I'm too lazy to go downstairs and look at my print out) of the Hip Thrust Challenge. I did not do the other 2 challenges first.

I really like this. It has built in progressions, for example today was the glute bridge for 3 sets of 20 reps using 40lbs. more than I did on Day 1.

The bodyweight stuff is killer. Yesterday was holding single leg hip thrusts. I can do 2 minutes. But it was 2 minute holds on each leg for 3 sets. Aaaayah!! Major butt burn. I've definitely learned that you can fatigue these muscles with heavy weight and with body weight.

The other thing I like is that I'm working the glutes each day. I like this concept and will try the other challenges once I complete this one.
