Sock recommendations for "barefoot" workouts . . .

I think I'll need some grippy socks to keep my feet warm this fall. I've done some Amazon searches and the reviews for many are hit-or-miss. Except the expensive ones, of course.

Acacia has some on sale for $5 a pair with good reviews. Any experience with those?

Any recommendations for reasonably priced, quality socks that keep your feet from slipping?

Thanks!

Possibly more $$ than you're interested in spending but I really recommend Toe Sox: http://www.amazon.com/ToeSox-Pilates...ywords=toe+sox
I have both the full toe and half toe versions and they are terrific and really stay on well.

I don't have any experience with these, but Crescent Moon Yoga sells the grippy socks in 3-pair packs for $24.99.

Lululemon

I just saw some with the grip at Lululemon that say "Keep" on one sock and "Shaking" on the other. Very cute.

Wow. I just got mine in the mail today and I love them. They were recommended to me by the Bellicon lady for the Rebounder. I said I had my Vibrams but she said these would be better and they are are. I love them. Used them this morning. they are called Akkua Technical Socks. They have this grip stuff on the bottom and yes, they are pretty. I chose Black and purple. you can wear them in water. I bet they'd also be good for Bikram Yoga to so you don't slip. I'm going to use them for my other yoga also. I love them.

Go to Walmart and get the Danskin brand grippy socks-WAY cheaper!! I got some, but then cut the tips of the toes out! I think that is how the POP Physique girls wear theirs? They were like 7 bucks. KMArt had some too! They are hanging in the sporting goods isle. They are just like the Gaiam ones and way cheaper. I have seen the Gaiam ones at my local Sprouts farmer's Market store along with books/dvds -by the vitamins and beauty products
