Just for fun - yoga style by Zodiac sign

Kassandra Reinhardt (Yoga with Kassandra) has started filming a series of short practices for each Zodiac sign. That got me to thinking what each sign's yoga style might be.

What is your sign and what is your preferred yoga style? I'm thinking:

Aries - is the instructor of a Bryan Kest style power class.
Taurus - a warm up series of flowy joint lubrication moves followed by a yin or restorative class with lots of bolsters and blankets.
Gemini - a faster paced flow class, sorry no time for meditation!
Cancer - a lunar goddess flow in a calming Zen studio, long guided savasana please.
Leo - a Seane Corn style class, there's no such thing as too many sun salutations.
Virgo - tightly choreographed class for this meticulous soul, no incense please - I'm too sensitive.
Libra - the teacher better hold each side for the same length of time or Libra will be anxious during savasana.
Scorpio - aerial yoga, wearing sexy designer yoga threads.
Sagittarius - Mysore free style yoga, an outdoor class whenever possible.
Capricorn - progressive flow class, enjoys a teacher who uses Sanskrit names for the asana and mentions Rumi or the Gita during class. Is considering taking yoga teacher training and maybe opening her own studio.
Aquarius - bring on the Jacuzzi jets from heaven, enjoys unusual poses. Goes to cafe afterward with other students.
Pisces - gentle flow with restorative elements, soft music and candlelight.

hmmm not sure I am going to the cafe with other students. But then again, I’m not really drawn to yoga at all so where is the zodiac sign for that?

My sign is Scorpio but my preferred yoga style is Taurus (a warm up series of flowy joint lubrication moves followed by a yin or restorative class with lots of bolsters and blankets).

LOL… just today I was in a class where the teacher said “I’m a Libra so I have to have the poses even on both sides.” I’m Capricorn and your description applies really well except that I’ve already done the teacher training and don’t want a studio. 😂

What a great list, Pat! Thanks for sharing it.

I was born on the cusp of Gemini and Cancer, but a woman I worked with years ago was an astrology nerd and she told me I was born in Cancer based upon my time of birth. That being said, I do agree more with the Cancer description in liking a calming Zen flow. But the Gemini in me doesn’t want too long of a savasana, as I want to move on to my next activity (eating, work, watching tv, etc.). The Pisces flow sounds nice too as I enjoy a soft background music

or chimes with my yoga.

some like one or two are fine but I get tired of them fast.
