It's a shame. Beautiful scenery and I really wanted to like it! Oh well, if I only dislike one in the whole bunch that I got I guess I'm doing pretty well...

Just got an email that she is having a 35% off sale until Monday. Also it seems she wants to make 26 new Body Electric episodes. (Some of you may already know this but I'm new to her workouts). Here's what her email said:

You know that I am very passionate about creating a new series of a BODY ELECTRIC programs to offer appropriate exercises
to offer health and fitness for all, especially baby boomers. To that end, I will soon launch a vigorous campaign on Kickstarter to raise public funding to produce 26 new shows. We are rebranding the Body Electric logo and will be offering exciting premiums. I hope that I have your support!

This explains all the sales. I figured she was trying to raise money for something. Good news. I'm glad she has no plans to retire anytime soon.

She posted that on her Facebook page, too. I'd love for it to happen, but my local PBS stations have never aired Body Electric, and when I wrote to them they sent a canned reply that they have no plans to add any new shows featuring Margaret Richard.

I got the same canned reply. I now get two PBS stations from two different regions and neither airs Body Electric. No Body Electric, yet a plethora of yoga programs in general (counting in other stations too). I'm happy I now get Classical Stretch. But I wish TV stations wouldn't choose to play it so safe with the yoga and stretch and would just TRY to fit in Margaret for a season. How hard can it be. I guess you have to know the CEO or one of their relatives to be heard.

I have lots of Margaret workouts that I like. Two that I traded away were Raising the Bar and Triple Threat. I just didn't enjoy them.

There are four MR programs I don't have that I don't wish to acquire - Maggie, The Spark, Raising the Bar, and Fight Age with Strength. I might add Triple Threat to that group to make it 5 if I give TT away. I'm happy with all the rest of her dvds.

For some reason Triple Threat never really spoke to me, even though the scenery is nice. I really like the outdoor scenery on the Unpluggeds, a part of me wishes there was music but I understand why there isn't. I have thought about Good N Strong, but they remind me of Unpluggeds so I will just stick with those. I still think about Sculpture, but I already had it once and traded it away.

One of my favorite Margaret DVDs is Perfect 10, and there's not much talk of that one on here. I like it though.

Thanks for the reminder about this one. I did Perfect 10 yesterday and I really like it. There's something quite refreshing about it. I love Margaret. She's truly unique and one of a kind.
