BSS1. Are add ons worth it?

I am revisiting The Firm BSS 1 and really liking them. I have the 3 in 1 DVD of cardio sculpt, ab sculpt and body sculpt (which by the way is on sale at firm direct for 14.95). I was wondering if the 6 pack add ons are worth it and if there is a rotation using them. Thanks.

It's been quite a while since I've used them but I liked them a lot.
To give you some rotation ideas, here's a sample rotation using just the 6-pack:

Week 1
Super Body Sculpt
Cardio Sculpt Blaster
Lower Body Sculpt II
REST
Body Sculpt Blaster
Super Cardio Sculpt

Week 2
REST
Cardio Sculpt Blaster
Lower Body Sculpt I
REST
Super Cardio Sculpt
Super Body Sculpt
Body Sculpt Blaster

Week 3
REST
Lower Body Sculpt I
Super Cardio Sculpt
Super Body Sculpt
Body Sculpt Blaster
REST
Cardio Sculpt Blaster

Week 4
Super Cardio Sculpt
Super Body Sculpt
Lower Body Sculpt II
REST
REST
Cardio Sculpt Blaster
Body Sculpt Blaster

Week 5
Cardio Sculpt Blaster
REST
Super Body Sculpt
Lower Body Sculpt

And here's a rotation using both BSS1 and BSS 2 (including the add-on's)

Week 1
Body Sculpt Blaster
Maximum Cardio Burn Plus Abs
Complete Aerobics & Weight Training
Calorie Killer
REST
Lower Body Sculpt 2
Firm Abs

Week 2
Total Sculpt Plus Abs
Cardio Sculpt Blaster
Super Body Sculpt
Super Cardio Sculpt
REST
Lower Body Sculpt 1
Ab Sculpt

Week 3
Cardio Sculpt
Maximum Cardio Burn Plus Abs
Complete Aerobics & Weight Training
Calorie Killer
REST
Body Sculpt Blaster
Firm Abs

Week 4
Body Sculpt
Cardio Sculpt Blaster
Super Body Sculpt
Super Cardio Sculpt

They are definitely worth it! Those 6 are some of my most used Firms. Designing a rotation with all the BSS1 workouts is easy for me because there are several types and lengths of workouts. I agree - adding in BSS2 creates lots of possibilities. The two systems (with the add-ons) work really well together.

25 Ab Sculpt A
45 Body Sculpt S
57 Cardio Sculpt C+S

31 Body Sculpt Blaster S
30 Cardio Sculpt Blaster C
30 Lower Body Sculpt Vol 1 S-L
32 Lower Body Sculpt Vol 2 S-L
42 Super Body Sculpt S
40 Super Cardio Sculpt C

Oh..now I'm excited. Call me crazy but I always feel thinner the day after doing The Firm. Is Firmdirect the best place to buy?

i remember when the 6-pack was released and everyone complained about how short they were!

i'm glad you posted your question because after doing a VF search (in General and in the Rotations forums), there weren't any rotations posted with just BSS1 & the 6-Pack add ons.

if you stick with just these 9 DVDs, there is a lack of an "upper body only" video. that's why you see many rotations posted that combine BSS1, the 6-pack, and BSS2 because BSS2 has 1 UB workout - the one with Janet Brooks.

within the 9 DVDs, many of them are interchangeable. for example, these are very similar - cardio using the FL and light weights:

Super Cardio Sculpt
Body Sculpt Blaster
Cardio Sculpt Blaster

Abs sculpt is more of an add-on than a stand alone workout, and would be a nice add-on to any of the 6-packs to make your session longer.

Super Body Sculpt is almost similar to Body Sculpt except that SBS has an abs routine.

Cardio Sculpt and Body Sculpt differ in that Body Sculpt lacks Abdominal work, and Cardio Sculpt has more cardio in it than weights.

I really like:
Cardio Sculpt Blaster
Super Cardio Sculpt
Body Sculpt Blaster
Lower Body Sculpt I

The other 2 I can live without.

If push came to shove, I'd pick Super Cardio Sculpt and Body Sculpt Blaster because I love Nancy.

Body Sculpt Blaster is a sculpt workout - not cardio.

I use Ab Sculpt as a stand alone - for me it works well that way (usually a Friday afternoon workout).

It's been a while since I bought them; but I would think you could pick them up at Amazon for a good price - just depends I guess with shipping.

I was one of those people. I called them workout fragments. But years later in 2006, short workouts finally got me working out consistently. I'm so grateful for all the short Firms now.
