S- 90 . . . Did this happen to you?

Hello,
I just finished my first 30 days of S 90. I have really increased my endurance and strength as I am using heavier weights then I ever have and I believe reduced inches because my pants fit better, but I have not lost a pound. I usually add 1 - 3 miles of Leslie or 30 minutes of aerobics to each DVD except Tabata Inferno. I know we can not talk about diet but I also do weight watchers points plus program. Has this happened to anyone else? I am a bit discouraged.
Thanks for your help.

Sounds like you are gaining muscle and losing fat I wouldn't be discouraged, your clothes are fitting better and that's better than a number on a scale

How your clothes fit is a better guide than how much you weigh.

Losing inches is much better then losing pounds IMO. Don't be discouraged. It sounds like you are doing great

If you reach the point where you're no longer losing inches, then I'd start to worry, but right now you're doing fine. You may be retaining some water because of the S90 training.

S90 isn't a weight loss program as much as it is a muscle-building, fitness-conditioning program. But you're doing fantastic -- stick with it and weight loss will happen too.

Here's a little visual imagery for you...picture an exercise ball. It is very light, but it is also quite large. You also have a medicine ball. It is quite heavy compared to the exercise ball but it is also much smaller. The medicine ball is the person who has more muscle. They may weigh more, but they take up much less space because they have more dense muscle.

If your clothes are looser, then you are heading in the right direction. Please do not let the number on the scale discourage you...it cannot tell the difference between fat and muscle.
