S90 Not 30 minute workouts for me

I did Legs and OMG I will ache tomorrow. But, I LOVE squats, LOL

The workouts are supposed to be half hour but what I do, so I can give it my all and do all the reps, is have him demonstrate, pause it, do my set, rest while they do theirs and then go on to the next.

I do the same thing b/c the reps just move too fast for my liking, that way I can go heavier.

My breaks and pausing add on from 2-5 minutes depending on the workout. I think I've only done Tabata, Core Dynamics, and Cardio Challenge in the time allotted.

I take about the same time they do for most of the workouts, but Chest and Back is about an hour long for me!

I just finished my rotation and found that in Months 2 & 3 I was going as fast as the crew. I would prefer to lift heavier but Tom says that the pace is what gives you the cardio factor.

All that said I am glad to be over that rotation. It was THE most boring one I have ever done. I also skipped the warm up and cool down after a few weeks because, again they bored the life out of me.

Absolutely NOT. P90X is way superior to S90 in all ways. However, for the price I cannot complain except that it was a boring rotation that sometimes made little or no sense. I like Tabata, Core Dynamics and Ultimate Ball.

I felt a bit more "toned" and stronger after Month1 but really little or no visible results.

But again, for the price and the amount fo dvds you get it can still fit in anyone's collection.

I don't think I would stick out a rotation that bored me to tears, especially if it wasn't helping me accomplish anything that I wanted to accomplish fitnesswise.

I gave up on S90 because it caused a lot of pain in my iffy right shoulder. Otherwise I didn't mind it, though I did get tired of same warm up and stretch all the time.

I hope your next rotation is interesting and helps you reach your goals.

I am rotation obsessed. I always feel I must finish them. However, with S90 I subbed the cardio and skipped the warmup, cool down. That made it bearable.
