Hmm... I guess since I'm in Australia I'd get a pressed DVD (although I would confirm this before ordering). Maybe Dance of the Dragon is sneaking its way back onto my wish list...

ETA: I just checked the Chi Ball Method home page and it says:

Will the ChiBall DVDs work with my DVD player?
All our DVDs are recorded in Region Free (zero) PAL, and so should play in DVD players around the world. In the US, you may experience difficulty if your DVD player is restricted to Region 1 NTSC, however, you will be able to play the DVD in a Windows-based computer. Most modern TVs will take a screen output from a computer, so you can overcome the NTSC issue by hooking your computer up to your TV. Alternatively, and, by the way, this is our favourite way of watching the ChiBall Method, hook up a projector to a laptop and project a life-sized picture onto a wall. If you experience any difficulties, please contact us.

So I guess that explains why they sent Casswoman a DVD-R.

I emailed them to make sure I'd be getting a pressed DVD if I do order.

Russ responded at 6.37 am on his Blackberry:

All our DVDs are pressed in PAL format for distribution in Australia where we are based. We get so few orders from the US that we had some NTSC copies of the DVD printed and burnt specifically for that market.

So I guess if you were based outside Oz and specifically wanted a pressed PAL-format DVD, they would send it to you. Russ also wanted the name of our forum so he could respond directly, but I told him the problem had been resolved.

I must say I'm impressed with their customer service.
