On her Senior Shape page Lauren has a link up to vote for her in M&F Hers' cover model contest. You can vote once in every 24 hour period.

When I went through the link, the first option asks to verify by a credit card. I was going to back out, not wanting to do that, but below it is an option to vote through Facebook.

I'm happy to support Lauren and hope she wins!

She was in sixth place yesterday and has moved into fourth place today.

Darn it - I had a link for non-FB'ers but it asks for a card. That step only hurts the contestants, nobody wants to give a CC to vote in a magazine contest.

I have a friend also in this competition (in a different age bracket). I just don't agree with winners winning because of paid-for votes. Shame on M&F Hers for this type of competition. Heck, I could be on the cover if I paid enough for it.

(Unless I'm missing something.)

I agree! I recall voting in M&F cover contests back when I had a subscription and never had to provide a CC number.
