There's just no reason to wear your own name on your pants.
Ha! Maybe she got a little carried away after labeling all her kids' stuff for school?

Long/baggy pants that hide the instructor's form or movements should be an absolute no-no when proper technique is important.

Other than that I like bright, cheerful colours and styles flattering to the instructor. Different styles suit different people and I really appreciate it when the outfit is attractive and makes the instructor look nice.

I would sometimes prefer it if certain instructors wore functional sports bras under their camisoles when doing high impact because otherwise I wonder: a) whether to expect a wardrobe malfunction, b) if the instructor is feeling physical discomfort, or c) why there is no evidence of a) or b). I want my attention drawn into doing the workout, not to extraneous things about the instructor's wardrobe.

SG, I just love how you made an exception for Shaun T!

I don't have really strong preferences--some outfits I like, some I don't, but I'm okay with most things, although I probably prefer tanks and shorts/capris for both men and women.

One thing I DON'T like though: hats! They just seem so odd and unnecessary, plus wouldn't they get all sweaty?

I actually love a lot of Miranda's workout tanks! She seems to choose some of my favorite colors, such as olive green. I like Sahra's outfits too, but at least in the Essentrics videos, they definitely seem more trendy to me--e.g., leotards with mesh cutouts, legwarmers, etc.

I like Jessica Smiths outfits. However, Jillian Michael's never bothered me for some reason.

OTH, I decided against subscribing to the Gymra You Tube channel because of all the bra tops, and lots of short shorts. I guess I found it annoying because there is no variation. If there were a variety, with some gym tops and some long tops, I would be fine with it, just assuming it's an instructor's preference. But when they all wear it, it gives me the impression they're trying to attract more viewers with skin.

I like Suzanne Bowen's and Jessica Smith's attire. Their clothes look comfortable, resembles something that I might work out in and seems practical.

I just realized that while I enjoy wearing workout skirts I wouldn't want to see one in a DVD. I have no idea why though.
