Yoga Training: (online) Dean Pohlman _ Strength Fundamentals _ Core & Hip Muscle Engagement
R&R: (book) The Outdoor Adventurer’s Guide to Yoga _ Post-Hike Sequence. I did this sequence before bed, along with a cup of warm milk, and lavender incense - slept soooo good!

Anita - thank you! I did sign up for Mission: Daily Yoga. I'm looking forward to it. I'm having some lower back/hip pain (story of my life!) and I'm playing around w/ some of his Dean's practices that address those areas. I did one for sciatica today - I found it interesting how he focused less on passive stretching and more on activation/strengthening. His practices are definitely a mental workout as well - focusing on form and activating your muscles.

I like the way you have "training" and "R&R" sessions. That is a good way to look at it!

12/29/21 - Day 9 - Yoga with Kassandra 10 Minute Upper Body Yoga followed by my own yin-yasa for psoas, hips and lower back.

I called it yin-yasa because I held the poses for five minutes instead of several minutes, and kept moving from pose to pose. It was effective.

It is one of my favorites.

Today I did Daily Dose of Bliss from Eoin's Power Yoga for Happiness DVD followed by Peace In A Time of Crisis meditation.

I'll be kicking off tomorrow with a yoga class at noon (with live music). It's also my entry into the VF exercise marathon for New Year's.
