Hi all. My workout Friday was Perfect 30 Upper Body (including the bonus exercises) + 30 minutes on the elliptical. Saturday DH and I went to the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts to check out the Chinese New Year celebration and saw some great performances. We did a fair amount of walking.

Cher - Great to hear from you. VF was on the brink there for a while but it's working better now. Are you getting lots of snow?

T2B - I haven't seen anything good lately on Netflix. I did watch The Brothers Sun and Michelle Yeoh is great but the plot was so silly and some of the characters so annoying that it was hard to watch till the end. I had read the book that Fool Me Once is based on so I'm afraid I would already know the plot twist before I even start.

BTW, Cathe's January rotation might be OK for you. She has 3 days of weights a week (one total body and one lower, one upper) but you can always cut one day out, and a lot of the workouts are shorter.

Karjoy - Do you have more ruck workouts lined up or are you done?

Vannie - Good luck deciding on what to do next!

Hi All,

My workouts:
3. Sh’Bam #12, 45mins + Sh’Bam #16, 32mins. Both are fun. I didn’t know that Rach was a dancer until I started doing the Sh’Bam workouts. Rach is just as good in Sh’Bam as she is in BodyCombat.
4. TURBO FIRE: Fire 60
5. STS 2.0: Supersets Total Body - Single Superset + CIZE: HYO

Cher - good to see you checking in. Your workout schedule sounds good to me.

JB - thanks for mentioning Cathe’s January rotation. I have that one printed already and plan to do it when I’m ready to bump up the intensity.

Wow, I just checked online/email for the first time today, 6:11pm, and read Cathe’s newsletter announcing her new series. Sounds good. Maybe I'll do more of these functional fitness type workouts with Cathe.

Hi all. Resting today because yesterday I had to finish a lot of the Ruck stuff. There was a couple miles of running, some rucking and some Burpees too. I took some breaks so I could get it all done and not be half dead. Jbliff I have this week and next week and then I am done. That will give me time to train for our local Springtime in early April.

Cher so good to hear from you! Sounds like you’re back in the exercise groove. Good for you! I know you’re getting tired of cold and snow. Maybe spring is not too far away. Fingers crossed.

Vannie I saw the announcements for Cathe’s new Functional Fit series. Can’t wait for more details.

I keep getting server is busy when I tried to post yesterday and this morning. Hopefully that’s just temporary.

Hi all. My workout yesterday was a walk + Step Boss PHA 3. Sunday's workout was a walk + LIS Cycle Max using my elliptical. I was sweating up a storm with this one. Surprisingly I burned more calories and my heart rate spiked more with PHA 3 than with Cycle Max.

Karjoy - I got the server too busy message a couple of times yesterday too. Fingers crossed that it's not going to be as bad as last time.

T2B - Is Sh'Bam on demand as well? Rach seems to be a woman of many talents. I remember during the pandemic she used to put up Youtube videos of her home workouts.

Cathe's new workouts sound intriguing. I'm sure I will bite and order them.

I rested again yesterday after spending almost 3 hours in the dental chair yesterday afternoon. No pain but my mouth had been yanked on a lot and I could not contemplate anything but watching some basketball and some Vera on my Acorn ap. Feeling good today.

I’m still getting that server busy message at random times.

JB - Sh-Bam is part of LMOD. Rach also has a couple of low impact workouts but I wasn’t wowed when I tried one of those. I hope once the days are longer that I’ll do more LMOD streaming. I don’t like doing anything after work when it’s dark at 5:30. I love that right now the sun sets a little later each day. I agree, the calorie burn for PHA 3 is super high. It’s amazing how that workout just feels so different than PHAT & PHA 2.

My workout yesterday was Gloved Up & Sweaty + the bonus jump rope segment.

Karjoy - Glad you are feeling good today.

T2B - I don't blame you for not feeling motivated when it gets dark. It's hard for me to work out at night too.
