Thank you! I miss the shopping cart days

This pic was taken summer of 2019, before all hell broke loose with that virus. My son is 5'10" and growing, he starts high school this fall. My baby is 5'4" and is loving her first year of middle school.

For those of you from the Chicago area who listen to XRT, the wonderful Lin Brehmer has passed away at age 68.

Early in our dating years, my husband and I used to watch "James at 15" and "James at 16" - we just loved the show. Sixty two is far too young these days. RIP Lance.

It was a great show, dealing with real problems with teens and parents. At the time, I was closer to a teen than I am now - now I'm more like a grandma!

I just looked on YouTube and the series is out there in case anyone has a penchant for nostalgia:

I’m not sure if it was mention here yet, but dancer Arthur Duncan passed away earlier this month. He was best known for his tap dancing on the Lawrence Welk Show.

I remember the show and that he was a big teen heartthrob at the time. I used to get the tigerbeat and teenbeat magazines and he would always be on the covers.
