I haven't used it for a while. A constantly aggravated elbow injury will not allow it. It is a great system. Arms, core, mobility, strength. I think 7 lb. is a good starter weight for the exercises recommended.

It does sit near my front door. Quite a conversation piece.
oh, LouLou. You done did it now showed me more and told how it works. I should get this so I can be ready for snow season.

I sure bet swing an unbalanced pole does cause your muscles to pop.

This is an exercise you do have to be intuned to your back.

I did like it when the firm, I think it was used as a pole in one of their routines.. Thanks for chiming in. on my Wishlist at Amazon. Cause I know when i can get it, I want it the next day.!!!!

Hey Cheryl! It doesn't hurt to subscribe to Onnit.

They are informative and innovative with just the occasional email. Also you never know what they are going to come up with. Like the primal bells and this:

Wish we had gifs to show happiness. Just came back from a walk and I said one day, this won’t giggle. Program or not. Just do what feels right. I’m on the list to be notified when the 7s get in. They are on back order now.

I have a mace too! I purchased it a few years ago; rarely used; now it also is sitting by my front door

Thank you for the info about workouts. I need to try some of those.

OLD THREAD ALERT

Is anyone still doing Mace workouts? My boss brought this to my attention yesterday and he was going to try it out and let me know about it.

I went through the thread and it looks so interesting and dare I say fun. Not like I need more gadgets around but I like to try new things.

If anyone is still working out with it, do you do the classes on line, paper, DVD?

Thanks!

Talking

GM Rhonda, I did get one. I say it’s awesome. I got one from Set to Set. I have taken the Onnit 6 challenge with the steel clubs. I “thought” it would be easier to start with the clubs. Good thing I’m not paid to think

Any way. I also got the Uydaya Steel Mace program

It’s short gives good explainations and good think I still have it

She does do drills so you learn the moves. Onnit in the other hand just slams you into body weight exercises and BS that it was not fun,

If you want to try a program without wasting money . Go for the Durability one that uses two clubs, and two other pieces of equipment

Onnit does not have a short program for the mace.

Yes, I got into it because I love the steel for full body work

I have a 7 pound. Some places will say 7 and some say 10 for women to start. Lots of room to grow

Totally less than a Kettlebell like $25

Leo savage is a the king of the Mace. Look him up on YouTube

I have not found a solid program, follow aging yet

There is one flow I will do when o get back to it and that is the Beginner program from Set to Set on YouTube. She does a warm up and cool down. And it’s not fast

Let me know if I can help i any other way. Hth

I recently got an Adex adjustable club after enjoying some lightweight indian clubs.

I really like them both.

Mark Wildman on Youtube has good instruction, so does Summer Huntington

Kind of depends what you want to do, really.

I've started very light and am trying to be consistent over time. So far so good with the clubs. I do enjoy them, especially the light ones as a warmup.

I still use mine. I originally learned the moves from various instructors (before Onnit but then including their stuff) and just do my own combinations. I would use more youtube stuff but don't have internet access in my workout space.

I’m back on it.

I never did the videos you sent but I ordered one today!

Well, that tells me even though a year has passed I’m still interested and I have a mace. Thank you so much
