picked up for $2.99:

Scott Cole AM PM Tai Chi

it was still sealed and had a "Ross Store" sticker on it for $8.99. it brought back memories of when Ross sold fitness DVDs!

Also saw a sealed Pilates for Wimps with a Ross sticker on it.

Saw Bar Method Super Sculpting II at Goodwill but I already have it.

I miss when Ross sold workouts too, Jeannine! I don't know of any around me but when I would visit my parents in AZ my mom and I hit every Ross we could so I could search for DVDs I didn't have! Great memories of shopping with my mom.

I remember really liking the Pilates for Wimps workout but haven't done it in forever. Mine is VHS!

Last time I went to the thrift store I picked up the Kim Kardashian abs workout that Jennifer Galardi leads and Ballet Fitness by Stephanie (?) Herman.

Ah yes, the days of Ross selling workout DVD's! I bought quite a few Firm workouts from Ross back in the day. Fond memories!

Thanks for the comment about Pilates for Wimps. There's a VF review by our Dr. Beth in the VF reviews section, but nothing in the VF forum. I'm thinking of going back to get it.

Finally!

I never seem to find any fitness videos at my thrifts but I finally found one called Chi Walking by Danny Dreyer. Looks promising, but I haven’t had a chance to try it yet.

I miss that, too! It was fun racing to see whether what other folks found was available here.

I found Elise Gulan's Shape workout at Goodwill last week for $2. When I did the workout I thought I recognized her. She was the lead in Elements Ballet Conditioning workout, also! I haven't done her ballet workout in a long while, but in the Shape workout you can see her ballet influence. It has a nice mix of cardio and strength...very fushion-like and fun! She's a great instructor and this Shape workout made a great add-on, as the segments are short!

Her workouts have also been posted on YouTube.

I'm pretty sure that is Elise on beachbody's workouts too.

i went back to retrieve Pilates for Wimps. at first, i couldn't find it. i was getting a little discouraged.

while combing the shelves, i found Buns of Steel 2000 Platinum. it features 3 DVDs with cardio and toning, team-led by Tamilee, Donna Richardson, and Tracy York.

i held onto the BoS set - i said that if i find the Wimps DVD, i'll buy the BoS set - i said this to myself because i really didn't come in there for BoS. i finally found the Wimps DVD after looking for about 10 minutes. walked out of the store and used my 30% off coupon - got each for $2.10 plus tax.

*******************

i don't remember trying any of the BoS Platinum series before today. omg. i previewed it to make sure it played OK. why, oh why did Tamilee wear that thong leotard??? she has nice buns, don't get me wrong, but the objectify-o-meter was off the scale. cringe!!! i previewed the step video first. all was fine. suddenly they did a U-turn, and you see Tamilee's cheeks. Tracy wore one in the Thighs workout. just LOL to myself.

i'll still try the workout, but not in front of my family.
