fluidity questions

I am 5'9" and I was wondering if there was any problem using the bar and doing the exercises at my height. Also has anyone had a problem with a chemical smell from the mat?

TIA,
Lynn

I am the same height. I have my Fluidity extended to its full length and it's great.

I'm shorter so can't comment on the height thing, but never had a chemical smell from the mat.

I am also 5'9", and have it set to the second to highest level. I got mine used, so I think the mat probably gassed off already. I use a yoga mat anyway, because the attached one bunched for me.

Mine came with a horrible chemical smell in the mat, smelled like gasoline. I left it open and let it air out and the smell eventually went away completely.

I'm only 5'6 and I felt like the barre is not stable when doing exercises that require you to pull away from the barre. What am I doing wrong?
