Reading old threads

Do you ever start reading an older thread and finding yourself agreeing with someone and then scroll over and see that you were actually the one who made the post? LOL

haha. Or, I read an old post and think about how I'd respond and then I read that exact reaction in one of my posts following the person's message.

Yes lol! I've also read some VF Reviews and thought "now this is a VFer I could hang out with," lo and behold, I wrote the review.

Yeah. "I could have written that!" Oh, indeed I did.

Or worse, when I find myself in search of more personal advice and find that my past self seems to have been more articulate and together than I am at the moment. Struggling with stuff you should remember how to solve because you've quite literally been there and done that and felt secure enough in your skills to give advice to someone else. Sigh. Getting older isn't easy.

Somehow, though, I find it reassuring when the evidence would seem to indicate that I've been curious about whatever obscure fitness thing it is for quite some time. It's an excuse to buy whatever it was because I've been so patiently waiting to learn more.

All of the above! Although, it can work the opposite way if I realize I was curious and DID buy it and didn't use it.

Yes! This has happened to me many times.

I have also started threads to ask the very same question a few times. I guess the answer didn't stick the first five times.

After over 20 years and with 16,048+ posts, I'm afraid I have repeated myself often!

Haha I've done that here and in some fitness groups on Facebook. I think it has to do with decision paralysis in my case.
