Denise Austin Magazine

Forgive me if this has already been mentioned. Today at Walgreen's I saw a Denise Austin magazine called Fit After 50. It said Fall issue. I skimmed it quickly, there were pictures of Denise showing various exercises on a stability ball, as well as several other articles. It was fairly thick and expensive $12.95, I think. I decided to pass on it but some here might be interested. You have to give her credit for staying in the game all this time.

I have not heard about this. That is pricey, but I may splurge on it. I think Denise is very knowledgeable and a lovely person, but I just can't do her videos.

Thanks for posting!

I've read a couple of her books. I'm going to look for the magazine. Thanks for the heads up.

Maybe they have it at Costco or Sam's at a discounted amount. I'll check next time I go.

Don’t bother with her latest issue. I was disappointed when it arrived. Tiny little magazine!

the small blue one in your photo is the one i saw in Sam's Club yesterday. it's not very thick. i don't know how much it was. i thumbed through it and it has a lot of photos of exercise demos.

however, Denise's other books (Jumpstart, Daily Dozen) were better IMHO because they came with recipes and day by day tasks.

i can't recall if this smaller offering included recipes - i only looked real quick. it's more like a magazine to me - it was stapled at the spine vs. bound by glue.

I see magazine books at checkout all the time. They'll catch my eye and when I look at the price it stops me dead in my tracks. What's up with $13 magazines?
