It was....drumroll.... Simply Step Classic Moves Cardio Endurance.

I do all new to me step workouts in a 4 inch platform because I don’t know the choreography but the second time through with this one I think I can do a 6 inch.

Also, my thinking that this was complex may be laughable to others. I think what I mean is that it was interesting enough to keep my brain engaged but I didn’t have to stop after 30 minutes due to brain fatigue.

I'm going down memory lane with this thread. I had forgotten about Donna Read and some of the other names mentioned here.

Great thread!

6. Who is the most underrated instructor out there? Rebecca Small - she's great and most people have never heard of her.
Laura, I had to pop in and say THANK YOU for the Rebecca Small link. I did Step Mechanic this afternoon and absolutely loved it!! Everything you said is true, her cuing is stellar, the steps creative but doable since she teaches so well, she's got a great personality and is definitely underrated since although I had heard of her it wasn't until after Evolution video was out of the picture. Fun time for me!!

I'm so glad you enjoyed that workout and the introduction to Rebecca Small.

Another favorite instructor I didn't mention because I preferred his hi/lo workouts to step workouts was Marcus Irwin. Back in the day, I frequently recommended him. He founded the Evlution video company and featured various European instructors, including Rebecca Small.

Anyway, I found a workout of his on YouTube here. And, you know how YouTube is. You find one video and it leads to others. Here are a couple of links:

Step Tools - Marcus Irwin - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RQOUiUwJg7g

Stepping Zone - Christi Taylor - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sVVBX1Qw1GE

Thanks, Laura. I have Christi's Stepping Zone, but I want to try Marcus Irwin. Always looking for good hi/lo. I will have to fit that one in this week!

I'm afraid to look too hard at You Tube since I will want to do so many that I will exhaust myself.
