Anyone still doing Step workouts??

They are still around with many instructors filming new workouts. I have a Step but, other then Kelly's StepBoxing, have a hard time motivating myself to do a Step workout. I used to do them all the time but got away from them years ago. Cathe does alot of Step but I find her choreography too tricky for me so I avoid all but her High Step workouts.
I do find myself disappointed when I hear one of my favorite instructors is doing yet another Step workout, I gotta admit. I just don't enjoy them very much.
Anyone else wishing they would just "go away?"

It's funny you brought this up as I was just thinking the same thing. I used to LOVE step - it was all I ever wanted to do. But lately, I have no interest in it all. And I mean NONE. I pretty much got rid of all my step workouts except for a couple Cathe's (and KCM's newest Step Boxing).

I haven't done a step workout in ages. Before I was doing Cathe's a couple of times a week. I looked at Low Max sitting on the shelf the other day and was tempted for a second and then just thought no way. Walked with Leslie instead.

Personally, I love step!!!!

The only reason I stopped was that I found it was making my plantar fascitis act up!

I will still do an Imax or similar workout from time to time, but I pay the price for several days after.

(I should add that I was a step instructor on the 90's so I'm a bit biased!)

I love step! Cathe's 'brand' of step is my very favorite, so I was thrilled when she decided to come out with two new step workouts. Personally, I'm always worried that step is going to go away

I enjoy step! I think in the summer for sure I definitely do less because I mainly get my cardio walking/biking or playing tennis outside! And then mainly do strength DVDs indoors. I bet once I am "stuck" inside I will be grabbing for more step workouts!

I like step a lot, though I often do the routines on the floor to save my knees. Seasun Zieger and Christi are my favorite step instructors... I hope it doesn't go away any time soon!

+1

I step! It's my favorite form of cardio and I'm always afraid instructors will give up making step videos entirely because it's not as popular as it once was.

I confess I sometimes search the forums for threads like this Where are the steppers? when I'm feeling lonely.

I'm another one who loves step as much as ever. However, it has aggravated my pf and I've had to back off which makes me sad. I don't like dancy floor cardio and Leslie bores me to tears so I don't have a lot of choices left.

I love stepping. I try to get in at least two step workouts per week.

This morning I did the first 32 minutes from the recent Cathe road trip. Lots of fun!
