Yep, Sandy, I remember! I couldn't remember what year it was and hadn't taken time to look. I know I did modified at my in-laws' and there's a good chance I will do mofldified again. When I listened to a podcast about it I decided I wanted to do it again and downloaded the app to get their training calendar.

Buff, for the training, Mondays have been running, Tuesdays are "death by" workouts, Thursdays are what I assume are Crossfit workouts, some days are just accumulate a certain number of reps or minutes held throughout the day. The Running With Hal app I'm using only has me doing short runs right now so I've been able to combine them with Murph some days and for the Push, Pull, Swing challenge if pushups, pullups/rows or swings are in the Murph or kettlebell workouts on paper those count toward PPS per Lauren's recommendation. So out of four days I think I have only done PPS as written one of those days.

I love my 25 lb kettlebell! Swings feel so much better with a heavy enough bell.

Yes, I modified as well. From my 2010 log:

47:15 minutes (from Thanksgiving Murph Challenge - indoor this year)
Plan - same as last year only indoors due to earlier snow this year.
1 kilometer treadmill
50 squats
50 jumping pull-ups (many breaks)
50 squats
50 knee push-ups

1 kilometer treadmill
50 squats
50 crab push-ups
50 squats
50 knee push-ups

1 kilometer treadmill
50 squats
50 jumping pull-ups (many breaks)
50 squats
50 knee push-ups

1 kilometer treadmill

Grand total:
4 kilometers, 100 pull-ups, 200 push-ups, 300 squats
Time: 47:15

I'll have to look back at mine. I think I only did it once.

Sandy - Oh my! I can't imagine. I have your favorite Katja scheduled for Mon.

Vannie - Let's see your log. Are you human or superhuman?!

Helen - Transcontinental waves.

Probably subhuman!

Oh, why are mornings so hard? And why can I crush hard workouts but not mornings?? Okay, in my defense, Cyric still didn't feel well last night and looked agitated when he thought I was going to bed so I stayed up till almost 1 to see how his tummy was and then slept on the couch beside his bed. I slept pretty good overall but kept waking briefly to check on him. His tummy is making noises now as he sleeps but I don't know if it's still upset or just hungry since he didn't really get to eat yesterday. I need to get myself up and make him some rice for today instead of his food.

I stretched after my workouts yesterday but was in a hurry and didn't give it much thought. I realize now I didn't stretch my quads and hip flexors after all the squats and lunges. Ooh, DOMS!

Before I left yesterday to hangout with friends, I ran 1.5 mi for RWH day 5 and did AY Yoga for Runners post-run practice. Also did my 50 pike pushups for Murph day 15. Last night while we visited I did some much needed foam rolling. I love having IRL friends who workout!

Oh dear, it's a sure sign I've not been posting enough if I'm getting "waves"

Gym out of action a few days whilst DH installed the newly edited squat rack. The bar support now has 5 different heights - much more versatile!
Then he left for the farm on Wednesday = schlump.
That night the TV in the gym stopped working - first time tried after being moved - solder gets brittle with age & the slightest movement can crack it - according to my brother who's good with that stuff, so it's pfft!
Took another day to shop for a new one but decided to move an old 27" iMac up there instead. Mini USB/DVD + blue-tooth mouse to act as remote. Volume is great & didn't really notice the smaller screen.

Had 5 days with NOTHING other than dog walks.
Saturday: Cathe's Kick Max - Cardio Leg Sculpt Mix (nasty),
Sunday: Cathe's Body Max 2 - Upper Body Weights + Abs Mix (also nasty)

Feeling lesser doms in bum today, still have some in bi's & tri's.
Fresh week - can't let my lonely woes get me horizontal & just snuggling with Alice. The reverse A/C also decided not to play, just as we got a cold snap.
The house is needy without DH - me too.

MURPH looks daunting!

I found my log from Murph 2009. I didn't do 2010 bc I was in PT.

I wasn't running in 2009 so I started with a 3 mile walk with D'Argo and Chianna. The bodyweight stuff was then broken into too many sets and varieties to post. I did it at my in-laws' so I didn't have an option for pullups and just did seated rows with a band that was too light of resistance. Some pushups were done on the stairs, some at the wall, looks like some on the floor maybe. Squats were all different types. And for some reason I also did triceps dips!

Didn't expect to be SO distressed to get the 503 error message for "site unavailable" for VF for over 24 hrs.

Wednesday = long walk with school, shorter walk with Alice, +
Chalene Johnson - Turbo Jam - Cardio Party Mix 3, with wrist wrap weights

Had waaaayyy too many days with virtually nothing - apart from walking Alice.
Since DH left this time, hit a big schlump, and he won't be back for over another week. Need to gather myself.

Much needed long day yesterday hiking - Mt Tammany was a short but challenging hike, then proceeded to move the car and do another 4 miles (unplanned) around a pond that was easier but the more scenic of the two. Leaving at 6AM to get there is the only way this happened. Couldn't leave a hike before lunch with our integrity intact when the hike took less time than the drive. Spent a bit of time stretching to put myself back together both last night and this morning. Hoping to get another hike in next weekend.
