It looks pretty good! I did forget to wash the quilting cotton I used for the reverse side, and it shrank a bit, but I do think the lightweight denim was a good choice overall. It gives the garment a bit of heft, but it's not bulky.

Sadly, I do not have any sort of camera or any way to upload pictures. Sigh.

One of these days I do plan to join the modern world (with a smart phone) and will try to oblige.

I have a book in my Thrift Books cart but haven't hit buy yet. I think I am going to walk away from it.

I went to Costco and resisted buying the yoga mat again! It was down to $10.97.

I keep telling myself that's one less item to collect dust and use space.

Sometimes I think half the clutter battle is not bringing new stuff into the home, so good for you for resisting!

Yes! ^^
I love floppy legged characters. The ONLY reason I didn't buy a clearance-priced-floppy-legged-cute-as-can-be scarecrow last fall was because I remembered I had decluttered that bin and everything fit nicely.

He did ride around in my cart for awhile though

Unfortunately, I have inherited more stuff. My oldest son moved into a very small space in early May and my basement is now storing a lot of his stuff. I will give him credit, he did put it all neatly in one spot. I got an old table from my library and we stacked a lot on top of the table. Some stuff ended up in the garage but that's going to the curb very soon. As for me, I did some more winter/summer clothes sorting and took another bag to Goodwill. I opened this one closet I forgot I had cleaned out and was pleasantly surprised that it was fairly empty. A gift to myself.

I went into my closet. Good grief, I haven't worn work clothes in so long working from home. I have decided that when I retire I am donating the bulk of my work clothes.

Since I have been WFH I only needed a decent top for Zoom meetings. I figure I need to make space for travel clothes.

^2.

i never thought i would feel this way about work clothes. i remember reading a book a long time ago that you will avoid buying work clothes once you retire resulting in savings. I'm not a clothes horse by any means, but I'm finding myself wearing my work clothes to church!

i just found new homes for 8 DVDs on Share the Wealth. there's many more that i think i will be adding. I've been going back and trying some of my "virgin" workouts, and i have an abundance of these.

what has also helped is for several months last year and this year, i had been doing a lot of walking outdoors and "free form" weight workouts of my own design sans videos. this gave me a different perspective toward my DVDs, that i can afford to purge them.

Pondering why I am keeping the treadmill. I prefer walking outside so I rarely use it. DH uses it sometimes since he walks outdoors in warmer weather.

It's a foldable but still big. It's over 20 years old.

My mother used it a lot as she got older. She stopped walking outside during the day because our neighborhood is pretty quiet and private. She realized she could fall and noone would see her for hours.

So I am just thinking 🤔 right now.

I did it! I did it!!!

After years of putting off the chore of getting some hazardous waste out of the garage, I took a bunch of stuff to the yearly event at a local mall parking lot. The event got canceled last year and the line was HUGE. I got there about 9:15 and didn't get unloaded and out of there for an hour and a half.

Most people seemed pretty patient, but a few were kind irate about the delay.

So glad to have that stuff out of the house. I think my dad bought a new jug of charcoal lighter fluid every time he used the grill, LOL!!!
