I love Harry Potter and enjoyed listening to the Percy Jackson series by Rick Riordan. Have you read/listened to them?

I love the BBC Radio 4 Full-Cast Dramatisations of Agatha Christie’s mysteries. I travel back and forth to visit my daughter and these make a long, boring drive a lot more fun.

I’ve been into light reading these days. The Agatha Raisin British mystery series is a fave of mine. They are narrated by British actress Penelope Keith. I’ve also enjoyed some chick lit by Robyn Carr & Elin Hilderbrand. I’ve enjoyed two mystery/suspense books by B A Paris, The Breakdown & Bring Me Back. I also enjoyed The Paris Architect by Charles Belfoure, a WW2 historical fiction.

I've been listening to the Expanse series of books while working around the yard. I get them from the library via cloudLibrary, which replace Overdrive at my library. These are the first audiobooks I've ever listened to, usually preferring podcasts, but I'm really enjoying them a lot. SciFi is about the only fiction I read.

Yes! I belong to two libraries & use the Libby & cloudLibrary apps. Both have a good selection of audiobooks & ebooks. I often listen while I’m doing chores.

Oh jeez...I listen constantly!!! And I love a good story. One series I wasn’t sure about reading is The Hunger Games. The narrator was outstanding!! I loved it. And anything by Kristen Hannah. The narrators are excellent.

Angela’s ashes- read by Frank McCourt- the Pulitzer Prize winning author
Joan Rivers story read by the author, her daughter Melissa.

And YES.....Harry Potter!

I am not much of an audio book person because I have a hard time processing the spoken word. However I do like memoirs in audio book form. My favorites are:
Born a Crime by Trevor Noah
Angela's Ashes by Frank McCourt
both of these were narrated by the author and they were excellent. Sad and funny at the same time.

Also:
The Color of Water by James McBride. I listened to this ages ago and I cannot remember if the author narrated it but it was very good. I remember sitting in my car in the driveway listening to this with tears streaming down my face.

NCL-

Fiona Davis I have read all of her books. The only one I didn't care for Chelsea Girls.

Kristin Hannah I just finished Four Winds and it was good. It wasn't as good as The Nightingale but it was a good story. I also read The Great Alone.

If you like Historical Fiction, Beatriz Williams books are excellent. It's not a series but characters from books to books pop up occasionally. So I recommend getting her list and starting at the beginning.

Also Kristin Harmel and Jojo Moyes.

Happy Reading.
