Yaphet Kotto was amazing. I loved him in Alien, but I really loved him in Homocide.

My husband and I have recently been watching Homicide on DVD, and Alien is one of my favorite films. He was really excellent.

Oh no!!!! I had SUCH a crush on him on High Chaparral. I would watch anything he was in. Dang...the older I get the more people are passing.

Homicide was so good! I hope that it becomes available streaming sometime soon. I have wanted to revisit that show. I recommended to a friend and then realized that it wasn't available anywhere.

Actor Yaphet Kotto - loved him in "Midnight Run." my kids, DH and I say "I'm Alonzo Mosley!!!" or "Alonzo Mosley, FBI" every so often when we have to present our driver's license. even though that movie had lots of F-bombs and accordingly Rated-R, we let our kids watch it when they were in high school and laughed every time Yaphet was on the screen, playing the comedic "straight man."

We had to buy a DVD set because it's not streaming anywhere due to music rights issues. :/

Actor George Segal has died and while he was wonderful in many great acting roles, I will remember his joy when playing the banjo most of all. RIP

I came here for George Segal. He's been on The Goldbergs for so long, easy for me to forget he was a very busy actor before that and in many movies. He was 87.

I've loved him in everything he ever did. I've been a fan of his since I was a kid, but it was lots of fun watching him in Just Shoot Me.

I had a crush on him. I remember him way back in The Owl and the Pussycat with Barbra Streisand. Hard to imagine him as 87, as well as lots of other well-known people I grew up with being the ages they are.
