Hipster band reviews anyone? (re:Andrea Orbeck)

Hey VFers,

I'm curious about the hipster band?

Can anyone who uses it tell me if this one rolls up as easily as the more narrow bands?

Also, does it increase the level of difficulty?

Thanks for your thoughts!

I tagged the bottom of this thread. Apparently the verdict was it rolls and bunches up during use:

I added resistance loops as a tag as well because there have been several discussions about similar bands, but ones that don't roll or bunch up. Hopefully someone will personal experience will chime in.

I have it and it does roll up and bunch up. However, it does increase the intensity of the workout. I'm thinking about getting one of those fabric bands to see if it helps with the rolling up.

Oh, ok, thanks, Lorrie!
I have seen some fabric ones but didn't see any that I thought were worth the price considering they are not something I use often enough.

I bought my fabric resistance loops at Marshall's. I have only really used them for PT (floorwork for hips and glutes) but I've been really happy with them so far. I can't imagine that they will roll or anything when I start using them for standing work.

I like the hipster band for side steps, my favorite PT move from knee rehab. It doesn't roll up.

The week of Christmas. Even my PT was impressed with them. I can't remember the brand.
