I dislike gliding and will avoid most workouts that include gliding. (Exceptions occur, such as Jessica's new set which I think has some gliding.) I also dislike mini band work - the bands roll, I can't get them in place, I feel the work in my joints rather than my muscles, sometimes I have bruises the next day on my arms where the bands have cut into them, etc., so that's a deal breaker for me now.

I have gliders that I bought years ago, but I have never used them. I have a tendency to be clumsy and accident prone and they just seem like an injury waiting to happen in my case. I'm already dealing with a wonky knee as it is - ironically, a flare up from sliding across the room in dog vomit a few months ago (I was still half asleep and I didn't realize it was there, Belle threw up right in front of the bathroom door) - so I guess I have tried gliding after all. It's not for me.

I don't mind it when doing just one glider rather than both. If it's a move that would require both, I just don't use them.

I am not a gliding fan, I plan to do Jessica's newest workouts w/out the gliders.

I don’t like gliding at all, it’s so awkward but I think I would like it if I had either wooden floor or the correct carpet. I have rubber floors and I would have to place a carpet down and that would be hard to store and drag out for sometimes just one or two segments.

I like them, but I’ve never used them in a cardio workout, only in slow targeted toning in a barre style workout using one glider at a time. The glider foot is on the bare floor, other foot is not on a glider, rather on a mat beside a barre or chair for stability. I can see how using both gliders together at a faster pace could feel unstable.

See that's one of my problems. I have horse stall mats and I do have a rug down, but still the gliders don't slide well on a rug over stall mats.

I don’t like gliding and cardio combined.

I’m fine with lunges and the like, but like Star I just like using 1 disc at a time. I’d never be comfortable using a glider under each foot!

I have those Mindy Mylrea purple gliding discs, which work great on carpet!
