I didn't get much of a chance to exercise as I spend 4.5 hours in a conference and had to get up early for it. Very interesting but tiring. Did a 15 minute barre 3 this evening.

Cynthia, camp sounds fun. Don't forget to label all your clothes with your name. These days you can use a marker for it, rather than sewing in name tags. Very modern.

Cheryl, tram museum sounds fun. My DS would have loved it and probably would still go even now (at 24). It's good that your DD has found some friends so quickly after the move -- she really seems to be acclimating great.

Diana, too bad about the crown. That sounds a bit aggravating.

Good Morning, Everyone! Happy Friday!

Woke this morning to a fraud alert on my phone from my CC company. It's raining here today. I'm going with some of the ladies from church to visit a church member who had surgery to get a pacemaker.

Steps from yesterday: 6,520

Have a Blessed day and stay safe and healthy.

Today I did Heather's Fusion Flow Day Five: No Repeats Low-Impact HIIT. This was one of those "don't let low-impact fool you" workouts. Not easy. Also, still loving that magic knee-friendly workout, which burned comparitively at least the same number of calories, or more, for time spent. Also walked a ton taking DD to the museum etc.

Diana, I hope you got that CC thing sorted. It's usually something you did but they don't recognize as you.

Cynthia, camp sounds fun. I went to camp every year when I was a kid.

Lynn, I bet your DS would have liked the tram museum. The building was remarkably beautiful for a place where trolleys were built and powered.

Sad news, even though it was not unexpected. Composer Henry Mollicone is now composing for the angel choir. The San Jose choir sang so many of his works: Hear Me, Redeemer, When the Stars Have Gone, The Beatitude Mass, Lady Bird (a one-act opera), Missa de los Inmagrantes, and others. He led a group called Voices of Hope, of which I was honored to be asked to be a member. All concerts' proceeds went to charities for the homeless; even the instrumentalists donated their time and talent. He specified (at least 15 years ago, when it was composed) that all proceeds of all performances of the Beatitude Mass, would forever go to homeless charities. Our last Voices of Hope performance was in January 2020 and I had solo billing as part of the solo quartet in Now I Can See the Light. He had scheduled rehearsals in January of this year for his newest work, Requiem for George Floyd; but then he was hospitalized again in his long fight against cancer. I just sent an email to Leroy (SJSC director) asking if we could sing Hear Me, Redeemer at our rehearsal on Sunday before we do the Brahms.

Diana, the bank should probably send you a cc with a new number. You should change your password too. Fraudsters will start with a very small amount, which, if not dealt with, emboldens them to do more. Your bank sounds good & vigilant.

Cynthia, Exactly like you said, they are sending a new card. They tried to charge $5 but CC company declined it. While on the phone with CC company they tried to charge $5 again.
