The actress Diana Millay has passed away. She played Laura Collins on Dark Shadows. My husband was a big fan of the show.

I do not know why the smiley face is there. I cannot seem to remove it.

Actor John Reilly has passed away. Iím sure a lot of people will remember him from soap operas - I used to watch him on As the World Turns. He was also hilarious on an episode of Mary Tyler Moore. RIP

I watched him for years on General Hospital. It's hard to realize he was 84.

another thing i've noticed is that we used to be able to delete our post, but not any more. we used to be able to go to the "advanced" button and delete the post (it would say "delete thread" but it was mislabeled - it gave you the opportunity to delete your post in a thread).

I'm glad you clarified who this actor was because I was thinking it was John C. Reilly at first. I thought no, he's way too young!

RIP John Reilly, not John C. Reilly.

I think users can delete posts only within a certain time frame - 2-3 hours? After they I believe they have to ask a moderator to do it.

Siegfried Fischbacher of Siegfried and Roy has passed away at the age of 81 from pancreatic cancer. They were big names in Las Vegas for a long time and their compound was in the same neighborhood where my in-laws lived. They used to come into one of the places where I worked always dressed like they were ready to go onstage. RIP

I didn't recognize John Reilly by name, but I looked him up, and I definitely remember him from GH! That was my own personal heyday of watching soaps; I loved both him and Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) on the show.
