Wait, didn't Susan Powter do that, Nekkid Yoga maybe?

Oh, well, nekkid and naked are two different things.

Nekkid implies cornbread and fried chicken and maybe even chunky dunkin', as opposed to the more refined skinny dipping.

For some reason I equate nekikid with trailer park, Sherry.

Thanks!

Renda, since you live in Georgia, do you remember Lewis Grizzard? This discussion of Naked and Nekkid made me think of one Lewis's great quotes:

“In the south there's a difference between 'Naked' and 'Nekkid.' 'Naked' means you don't have any clothes on. Nekkid' means you don't have any clothes on ... and you're up to somethin!”

Lewis was so funny - I really miss his Southern humor.

Of course I remember Lewis. My dad uses a Lewis-ism at least once a day. I forgot about his use of "nekkid," though.

One I tell my kids (not verbatim) is something like people will usually forgive mistakes, but they will not forgive trying to wiggle out of one.

And my favorite book title that makes me giggle every time, Don't Bend Over in the Garden, Granny, You Know Them Taters Have Eyes. Yeah, my humor is not that sophisticated.

But it makes me think of my great grandmother standing in her garden, with a housedress on, butt in the air and you can see the top of her hose knotted to keep them up. That is a fond memory for me for many reasons. And in retrospect it shows me just what good shape that woman was in in her 80s/90s because she would look like she was standing on her head and touching the ground with no problem. Since she was generally telling me what I was doing wrong in picking the whole time, she was not breathless at all.

Oh, thanks for the memories, gigi.

I bought Angie Miller's Bedroom Body fairly recently and really like it. Do I like the name of it? Not really, but I have learned to not dismiss a workout because of the name, on the other hand I totally understand why some would not buy it too. Would I buy this workout? I don't know I would have to see clips I guess. Do I like the name of it? No I don't. I think there are better names that someone would come up with.

Just my two cents....
