The other things that have helped a lot is Jill Miller type yoga, Katy Bowman's stuff (several existing threads on these). From traditional weight work, the most useful has been single legged deadlifts. As with all things, YMMV.

Wow, interesting thread!
I just recently started getting into the FIRM workouts with the Fannylifter (I'm using the Transfimer box though) and I would have sworn I can feel it in my 'fanny'! I haven't done the workouts long enough to actually say whether or not something changed, but I certainly feel it! ![]()

+1 I always made sure to push through my heel and just ended up with massive thighs. I stopped using the box altogether and went with deadlifts, squats and lunges. That's given my butt a nice lift and good shape. Hubby has commented several times that my thighs are leaner too. |

Back in the day when I started out with the Firm and tall box, it definitely rounded and lifted my glutes. I don't do tall box or step much anymore, but I agree deadlifts are awesome and I have good luck with Core Fusion and barre type glute work also.
