I'm thinking reverse crunches would help. There are lots in Cathe's Core Max and Tracey Staehle's first ab workout, Core Strength and Conditioning.
Tony Horton has a similar move called "heavenly twist" in Upper, Middle, Lower in which you raise your butt slightly off the ground, then corkscrew your legs sideways.
