My sort of odd request--I'd like to see more ethnic diversity of instructors and background exercisers. I love Jai in Cathe's newer workouts, because it's good to know a south Asian woman (like me) can look like that!

Well-chaptered DVDs with premixes are, of course on my list as well!

I agree with almost everything mentioned above (not sure about Richard Simmons...) - especially the Tortoise & Hare DVD with the related parts workouts!! I also want all the classics on DVD (I'd buy those even without chaptering just because my old VHS tapes are in pretty bad shape now).

Everything mentioned sounds good - I want lots of chapters, distinctive titles, all my old favorites on DVD - do you hear me Reebok, Crunch, Firm?

But what I really want from every exercise DVD producer (actually, every DVD producer, but I use my exercise DVDs so often that this is a constant bane and annoyance) is freedom from the !@#$ FBI warning screen! I already agree that intellectual property theft is theft, but if I didn't, your stupid screen wouldn't deter me from copying. All it does is make me fume every time I try to get to the menu and see "Operation Prohibited by Disk" flashing on my screen. Don't prohibit my operations!

Kudos to Cathe - on most of her disks, you can skip the FBI warning and go straight to the menu. Keep it up, Cathe, and please, follow her lead, DVD industry.

Actually, I can think of at least a few big video producers that chapter nicely.
All my Crunch DVDs have chapters, and not only that, they provide a nice little sheet with the chapter menu.
My Prevention Walk Your Way Slim has chapters.
Kathy Smith's stuff has chapters.
Karen Voight has chapters and was actually doing the premix thing before Cathe.

I think The FIRM is more of an aberration.

Ditto everything you originally posted lalavanb, AND

1) KS Secrets Upper /Lower on dvd (chaptered, of course)

2) Crunch to get a new intro to their videos that doesn't include white bike shorts and spandex thong. That thing is soooooo tired!!!!!!!!!
