Would you be able to stand to do kettlebell swings? You could experiment with a dumbbell and if it looks like something you could do, an 18 pound dumbbell is not expensive. Tracy Rifkind has the workouts from her book on youtube, and there are lots of others as well. Swings are great cardio and strength in one exercise.

I really like this side-leg series with Karen Lord on YouTube. It's only 13 minutes and gives a good burn for the lower body.

She also has an Ab/Arm workout that would work - just skip the plank at the beginning.

Sorry you are having pain and I really hope it resolves soon.

That side leg series workout looks really good.

TracyQ... thanks for those two links!

Rhonda...I'm not allowed to do kettlebell swings anymore after my surgery.

Gale....when you put the yoga block under your head does it make your chin move towards your chest? I have to keep my neck in a pretty straight alignment or slightly extended but not flexed which is hard anyway b/c I have some titanium in my neck now unfortunately

Tugger—I know you’ve tried everything but this may be helpful. It’s a video demonstrating a quick and very simple anterior tibialis stretch that seems to give some people instant relief from their PF pain. The video is 10 minutes long but the stretch is shown after a brief introduction.

I posted this in the PF and Rebounding thread.

I follow Dr. Eric Berg and I remembered he had a video about PF and thought I would post the link with the hope it can help. It’s only 10 minutes long. The first 5-minutes is an introduction and demonstration of a simple stretch for your anterior tibialis which only takes a couple of minutes but the relief is supposedly immediate.

After about the 5 minute mark he talks about inflammation and changing your diet which may be off putting for some.
