I've just started Skogg and like Exercise Diva, I wish I hadn't waited so long to cave.
The instruction and form pointers are great. I'm improving my form and confidence with the clean and press, high pull and snatch. While I'm pretty strong, I've always been weak on overhead pressing moves, and I hope that working through Skogg will help with that. Once I've mastered my form, I'm looking forward to returning to RKS.

I love both for different reasons. Skogg is a great build up program, I made it through his whole rotation. It did get a little boring by the end. But it is a solid program from a man who knows his kettlebells. Now, every week, I will do one of the level 4 workouts and then on 2 other days do Lauren Brooks and AOS.
I loved RKS when I did it, lots of variety. I have not used it since. I'm not sure where to add it in my schedule. I feel the skogg workouts could stand alone as workouts more. I feel like RKS you have to string 1 or 2 together. If I had to choose between the 2, I would say Skogg. I use it the most. Good Luck! |
