When she does the step, then she had the High step

Except the Gazelle lol
To my knowledge Cathe has never done a KB (kettlebell) workout and when questioned about perhaps doing one (and she's been questioned about it several times over the years that I can recall), Cathe has always said she had no plans to do a KB workout.

Technically, I think when Cathe was partnered with Altus, the Cathe/Altus medicine balls came with an optional handle you could screw on (or at least the one I bought did), but I can't recall any Cathe workouts that utilized a medicine bal with the optional handle screwed on (plus, the weights of the medicine balls were rather light so weren't really meant to be used as true KBs in my opinion).

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

And Cathe has consistently incorporated either the full size club step or mini/high step from the very beginning of her fitness career to present day in many of her workouts.

Okay she didn’t do KB, the point was what ever is out there she may use it if she partners with another company or suggests her own.

Is her main mod of operation aerobics though? She always does some compound moves and jumping and lunges.

And also, all aimed at intermediate to advanced. I looked up her low intensity but she sure lets you know it is still high in resistance. Endurance, long!!!!

I sill appreciate what ever is her preference, always done well but not for the beginner or advanced in age exercises. Not critiquing or complaining, just noticing.

The only dvd I heave of hers is Stretch Max. That’s my speed.

I do I had one year's back in my country and I loved it. So when I found used one here for $50 I got it. I like that it is gentle on the joints and you get a nice sweat going. I haven't use it lately do to limited space, but I hope to get it out of the closet again soon.

I love both of the workouts! I like the variety and options they offer.

I thought people wanted her to expand her workouts to include different stuff! When she does weights or cardio people say it’s the same old, same old (but they are usually different combinations, speed, etc.) but people complain. She gives us something new and now she’s capitalizing on a product? I don’t understand what that’s about? I’m thrilled she’s still producing top rate workouts and offering them on dvd or streaming.

I try other workouts and streaming services but I always come back to her.

Got mine today and started previewing the upper body premix. Why are there squats and lunges with the bands in an upper body warm-up? Also, what I saw of the warm-up was pretty repetitive and simple.

Just to be clear I don’t think Cathe is purely trying to capitalize on the bands, I just didn’t like the workout. Cathe has every right to make money off her workouts and equipment and has continuously put out superior products. She obviously cares about the quality of her work. I just didn’t think the bands increased the effectiveness of these workouts. I kept thinking that it would be a better workout just using weights and would have been totally happy with a workout that incorporated the equipment in some exercises but the way she did it felt forced to me. I love Cathe. I’m subscribed to Live right now and she’s been my most used instructor of all time but the last three years I’ve branched out more. Most of the time I do streaming and YouTube now and I just like how other instructors are changing things up.

IMHO she is top notch on quality and quantity.
