Zappos
Just have to rave for Zappos one more time. Made an order last night at 10:30 pm. Arrived today at 3:00 pm. I may never shop in a clothing/shoe store again. Free shipping, free returns, no tax.

They are great in every way.
I was on vacation this past March/April and the chest strap for my Polar HRM died. I couldn't find a replacement locally, so I ordered one via Zappos. It was there the next day! The strap quit working a week ago, and I couldn't get the cover unscrewed to change the battery. Looking online said that the battery was supposed to last at least two years, so I called Zappos and explained what happened. They shipped me out a new one that day, and I received it the next day. They didn't even recharge me for the new one. All I had to do is return it in the box that my new chest strap was shipped in.

From 10:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. to astounding! I've never ordered from them, only searched for items, their shoe section seems hard to navigate. But I will keep them on my radar now!

So true -- lightning-fast shipping, and easy/free returns. They make it part of their business plan that they WANT people to buy three pairs of jeans and return the two that didn't fit . . . or whatever. Great business.

I LOVE them. I used them exclusively in my search for the perfect minimal shoe. I was very happy to keep the Saucony Hattoris I ordered from them.

I only think of them for shoes, but now I'll try to remember them for clothing too. 16-hour shipping... I wonder if they share a space-warp with Mary, or if they have their own?

I am also a huge Zappos advocate... I'm actually more like an evangelist.I have used them for many years inn fact another VFer was the person who originally swayed me to try them, and I am so glad I did! in my own experience, no one does customer service better than Zappo's, but You Tube is loaded with real customer appreciation videos. You should hear some of these stories. Seriously, some of them have really choked me up, very emotional, how they went the extra mile when someone was in a serious bind and the Zappo's order meant a lot more to them than "just shoes". The Zappo's credo states that they are not just in the shoe biz but that they are *really* in the customer service biz, and they prove it time and time again! Yay Zappos!
