We only caught it once this past year, I think...or that might have even been Christmas in July.

Wow, thanks I wasnt even aware of that quote in TZ, but it is soo fitting! TZ calls upon us admit we dont know everything (whether its deep within us or out in the far reaches of the universe) and explore the unknown mystery of everyday life.

Off hand I can only think of one that really gets to me. I'm a hopeless Romantic and I adore Love is a Many Splendored Thing with William Holden and Jennifer Jones. I always try to catch it whenever it's on, and I cry buckets every time. It also has a wonderful theme song.

I also like an old musical: Bells are Ringing with Dean Martin and Judy Holiday. I have never forgotten the music in this one. It also has, Jean Stapleton, the actress who played Edith Bunker on All in the Family before she became a household name.

Highly recommend both of these.

Edited to add: To Kill a Mockingbird, how could I forget that one.

I'm sure there are more, but 2 that come to mind are Almost Famous and Step Brothers.

Thanks, Beth. We haven't watched that yet but have it recorded from July. We're saving the Christmas movies for closer to the holidays.

For those who like Christmas movies, The Christmas Chronicles and The Christmas Chronicles: Part Two are good. Star Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn as Mr. and Mrs. Claus. More action adventure than your usual Christmas movie, especially the first one. Probably a bit too much so for little kids. On Netflix.

An animated Christmas movie for adults that won awards is Klaus. We really enjoyed it. Netflix original.

I really like that one, too.

And similarly titled: The Last Holiday (with Queen Latifah) is another fave holiday movie.

I was surprised The Holiday hadn't been mentioned yet when I listed it. That movie usually comes up early on these lists.
