VF on Facebook?

Kath, does this mean you are taking the initiative to start us on a group there? I don't know much about how to do it, especially not a closed group (which I agree is probably a good idea. I think Videofitness.com Fans, VFers on Facebook, or something fairly simple is fine for a name.

Ooty, I agree that Facebook is probably just a temporary crazy that I'll lose interest in eventually. I've actually had an account for years--my students were using it, and I wanted to see what all the fuss was about--but I didn't start using it more regularly until recently, when a bunch of people I know started friend-ing me!

I just joined Facebook on the invite by Sean. I'm not sure what I'm doing yet but I did find a friend that I used to work with years ago. We're hoping to get together to catch up. I lost touch with her once we moved away and her family moved to Alaska. We found out we live near each other again.
I'd join the VF group if it's started. I joined the I Love Cardio Coach group.

I'm pretty new to Facebook. It's cool being contacted by old high school friends that I've lost touch with.

I don't spend much time there. I just pop in to check messages. Maybe I'll check it out more if there is a VF group.

OK, the group VFers in Facebook has now been created. It might be helpful if people include their VF name in their request to join, unless it's immediately obvious it's you. But if you don't feel comfortable revealing your VF identity to the rest of the world, that's fine, too.
P.S. It's under Sports & Recreation, subcategory Fitness & Exercise.

I only know a few of you on Facebook (Beth, Ooty), so you've been contacted. Keilan, it won't let me send a message to your email because it's already listed; I'd have to have you on my my friends list to invite you.

Right now we have no picture. I assume Wendy has the VF logo copyright, but if anyone is creative and wants to come up with something cute for the Facebook group, let me know!
