Working towards 70!

My new hero! I'm 56 and hit the weights hard. Working as hard as this amazing woman is my goal!

I'll have to watch when I get home Kate. It's blocked at work.

Maybe it is me but why. Some of those exercises look like a injury waiting to happen. The way she was straining herself to get the weights up, even the hip thrusts didn't look very good. It is nice she can do that sort of thing but guess it isn't for me.

I like lifting but if I don't want to hurt myself either.

Rhonda, I wondered if she competes. I couldn’t imagine why anyone would push that hard if they don’t. We’re also not seeing one continuous WO so maybe day to day does look like that. She’s certainly gifted!

I agree. I assume she has been working out like that for years, which on the one hand minimizes the chance of injury but then there's the added problem of wear and tear on the joints. She looks fabulous - a look I used to strive for but never came close to as hard as I worked (which was nothing like what she is doing).

I'm now content to stay strong and flexible and pain free. Each to their own.
