I felt the same way, not sure which workouts to choose. Linda's suggested rotation for a week looks like this:
Upper body and core Lower body Total body Upper body Lower body and core Total body Dynamic stretch She also says it's optional to add cardio on any of the days. So then, one morning when I woke up earlier than usual, I browsed the you-tube selections and picked out 4 to 6 workouts for each category and bookmarked them into folders so that I could find them quickly later. If I do the workout and like it, then I edit the name to include info that's meaningful to me, and keep the bookmark. If I do the workout and don't like it, then I delete the bookmark. I haven't done very many yet. I like these ones for sure: Free back fat workout Free barre workout barre lower body challenge Free stretching yoga style workout Free total body stretching workout dynamic stretch I also like quite a few of her "5 best exercises" for different body parts, but find they are good as an add-on and not good as the workout for the day. |

Desie has some great suggestions, and here is also the direct link to where Linda talks about rotations on her website, and gives three samples:

Hi,
I think I'm going to venture into the Barlates world - starting w/ her free workouts to make sure I like it and can do them- does anyone know if the rotations she set up are for her You Tube workouts or just her DVD workouts? Thanks in advance! Donna |

Donna, the rotations are for workouts that you can buy, as far as I could tell.
Me too, I put the minutes in the title and the body parts that I feel get the most attention from the workout. Like, that yoga style stretch & balance really hits my obliques, stretching and strengthening. And the total body stretching one hits my calves and inner thighs. And the back fat one is really great for my upper back posture. So, I put what it works on me plus the minutes. |
