Leslie Sansone Workouts

My MIL had her gastric bypass surgery the beginning of March and has recovered really well. She has asked me about workouts on several occassions, but I mainly workout with Cathe, Gin Miller, or run. Can someone please be kind enough to steer me in the right direction with Sansone's workouts? I think something maybe 30 minutes in length would be more doable for my MIL and would hopefully spark her interest enough to become a vidiot with me. Also any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I did give my MIL Tamilee's I Want that Body DVD to help in the weight training department. Thanks for any help you can give me.

Any of Leslie's two-mile workouts should fill that bill.

Leslie is a good suggestion

You might check the library. Leslie has made so many workouts, you might be able to obtain a few on a trial basis.

Figuring about 15 minutes a mile, or less, two miles will about do it for thirty minutes including warm-up and cooldown. On the other hand, you can do as much or as little of any of these workouts as you like, at various levels of intensity. So any of the walking workouts would be fine.

I got her 2DVD Walk Away the Pounds set at Target for about $20. One, two, and three-mile. Very colorful and enjoyable.

There are soooo many - check out amazon, if she is happy with VHS she can get some great deals. Two Mile Walk would be a good choice.

Hi,

Leslie is a great choice. The George Foreman workouts might be a good option as well.

As for Leslie's, the WATP ones are a great place to start.

Leslie Sansone's 40 Plus Walk Aerobics is a nice start - a two mile walk about 1/2 hour long. My aunt got started with that one and sometimes I do it when I'm at her place. I enjoy it more than I thought I would.
