I did splurge on my birthday by treating myself to a BootySprout (hip thrust machine/bench). My supervisor at the rec center (also a friend and home workout junkie like me) has one and I tried it when I came to see her home gym a few months ago. I loved it, so I decided to get one (ordered Friday). I have the equipment to do heavy glute thrusts but it's a PITA to set up, especially if I want to go heavy.

Pat: I'm glad your surgery went well! Prayers and (((HUGS))) continue for a speedy recovery.

Pam: Your get-together sounds so nice.

Beth: You had a great week! I need to try Kelly's YT workouts and more of Caroline Girvan's. Butt after yesterday's Firm session I realized the need to work some of them back into rotation (mixed in with other things, of course).

Hello!

Today's Workout: Classical Stretch episode 608, followed by Margaret Richard Unplugged 1908. The CS + Unplugged combo has been nice, but I'm feeling ready to move on to other workouts.

Garrie: I had never heard of Booty Sprout so I Googled it! I'm impressed by how you taught three classes in one day.

Ah, you are my people!

Hey,

I'm just rediscovering this site after many years away. I simply love mat-based workouts. Barre, yoga and sculpt are my jam.

Right now I'm doing barre blend on the beachbody app, but always looking for recommendations on advanced barre workouts and yoga classes without too much talking (from the instructor).

Great to connect with ya'll!

Today was a long trail walk, got my 10,000 steps in. I had good intentions to do Barre3 and/or yoga, but somehow life got in the way.

Welcome Caren, you definitely will fit in here very nicely! We look forward to getting to know you.

Edit to add: This afternoon I took my 2 year old grandson for a walk in the neighborhood. He walks slow because he is so little!

I'm back at the office so it's a Double Moan Day. However, I had a very nice little walk at the beach yesterday evening. The weather was perfect and I rested on benches here and there to observe the gulls, egrets, cormorants, ducks, and an osprey soaring overhead.

Amazing how fast the pants get tight though! Admittedly, I indulged in some comfort food. It will be good to be back on a schedule. Eye is doing well so I don't want to push it, but I'll be moving more for sure.

I liked the 10 minute YouTube Arm workout using only 5 pound weights.

Pat, I gain weight very easily so have to carefully watch everything I eat.
Mama bird is still faithfully sitting on her eggs while father bird stands nearby.
