Hi Everyone!

No workout to report. We are doing some demolition at the church, so I helped out. Slinging a sledgehammer and pry bar is a workout. I am already sore. Tomorrow should be interesting.

Have a Blessed evening!

Cheryl's cardio. Some more new phone drama and some work pay raise drama -- but everything got straightened out.

Diana, wow, doing demolition now! That's impressive and definitely a workout.

Diana, are you okay after your sledge hammer workout?

Check-in: DBs day 14, chest and arms.

I'm fine today, a little upper body soreness. Our Pastor is going out of town so yesterday was the last day until he returns. ETA My hands and sides are the sore areas that I didn't expect.

Second day of very hot heat. DH says it hit 100. It is a record for Porto, I think. But it's already getting cooler. In two days it will be in the 70s again. I stood in front of a fan and did that 12-minute shoulder workout again. That's it. More when it's cooler!

Diana, demo can be fun, right?

Lynn, hope the drama resolves well!

Cynthia, what are you reading for book club?

Hi Everyone!

Cheryl I can pass on the demo, LOL. That was really the first time for doing that sort of thing. I came home last night, cooked dinner, and told DH a little of what I had been doing during the day. I was a filthy mess and had to take a shower before I prepared dinner. But I didn't go into detail about what I did. A friend, who was at church with me yesterday, ate dinner with me and DH tonight. She told my DH that I took down multiple walls, etc. DH's eyes got big. I told her that I didn't go into detail about all of that, LOL.

No workout to report.

Have a Blessed evening!

Good Morning, Everyone!

Since doing the work at the church on Tuesday, my weigh in yesterday and this morning, I have added on 2 pounds. I think it's inflammation. My eyes are very puffy.

Steps from yesterday: 4,278

Have a Blessed day and stay safe and healthy.

Another very hot one. I managed to do a 31-minute Heather "Brutal Booty ..." no equipment, no repeats workout, focusing the fan on me. The brutal part was the heat, haha. I imagined the benefits, like you get with hot yoga. It's supposed to break and be cooler tomorrow. We'll see!

Diana, sounds like you were pretty tough with that demo! Also, certainly inflammation. Just water--it will go away!

barre 3 strength workout. Still hot here and no end in sight for us. Will be going to a world music concert tonight, with one of our music faculty groups: https://www.bluethreadusa.com/about

Diana, so impressed with your demo workout. Maybe you should put it out on dvd!

Cheryl, you are so dedicated working out with no a/c in the heat with just a fan. Hat's off to you. We've been watching French tv and struggling with the vocab for all the heat wave terminology. Needless to say France is hot too.
