Thanks again for all your ideas!

We are definitely frugal for the most part, but the groceries are just driving me crazy.

I will also be switching to more natural cleaning methods as mentioned.

Oooh, I love your orange peels hack!

I try to do this, but sometimes the sale item is completely gone.

For sure, even more so these days. Most of us are still toilet paper shortage and supply chain scarred, and take two or more items when they are available.

I shop at BJ’s, Aldi, Trader Joe’s and Publix (the latter has gotten very expensive). I like BJ’s for bulk paper goods, coffee, and other things that don’t spoil easily. Aldi has the best prices, but their produce is not always high quality.

If you are looking for fitness clothes I recommend the following: Ross ( has Under Armour, Adidas and Spyder); TJ Maxx and Marshall’s. Also, Sierra.com online, though shipping can be an issue unless you spend $90.

If I need clothes TJ Maxx is my go-to store. It's always good to browse the aisle while there. Mine has a Home Goods area and I can usually pick up something like a dish brush or new potholder for dirt cheap.

I use Kroger pickup. Helps me not forget or waste time searching for ingredients, and to quickly identify sale and items with coupons. If the item you select is out of stock, they will substitute and price match.

Kroger gas points help us save a ton on our gas. When we have $ off, we will fill up both cars in one transaction.

I buy generic a lot, although there are some name brands that are must haves.
