Body Rx Vs Body For Life

I'm sure this has been discussed, but these are hard to search for ie. Rx is too short so it only looks for body. I did manage to find one or two from 3 years ago. Anyway I read BFL 2 years ago and I have Body Rx. I didn't try either, I was turned off at the excessive use of supplements in BFL and didn't have access to proper equipment at the time. I'm interested in knowing peoples results/experiences from either or both of these programs. If you have any dietary insights that you don't want to post here please e-mail me. Thanks.

I did a full BodyRx rotation last year. It was actually my first rotation ever - so! hey! why not commit to one that lasts 4+ months! lol I did deviate somewhat in that I used a wider variety of exercises than he recommends (mainly to alleviate boredom - seriously, how many times can your leg workout go, leg press, leg extension, leg curl, calf raises x2?) but stuck to the weight/rep ranges (although sometimes I did pyramid sets in the build/strength/endurance range for variety). One thing I would do if I ever do it again (which is a possibility) would be to take recovery weeks between the segments, and probably shorten the segments from six to four weeks. As it is, the schedule becomes a real grind.

The diet, I won't discuss here specifically, except to say it's very easy to follow. You can email me if you have any questions.

I'm not sure what you're looking for about it specifically; it's a solid program. Maybe if you had a specific question, I could answer it?

What is Body Rx? Is it a book? A web site?

Both, actually. (Reminds me of the old SNL skit: "It's a floor wax AND a dessert topping!")

If you do BFL, you don't need to take supplements. You could follow the diet and the exercise plan without it.

I sent a VFer an e-mail outlining the difference between Body Rx and BFL. If you're interested, just e-mail me and I'll try to find that e-mail. I can't post the stuff here because of the diet issue.

What would you attempt to do if you knew you could not fail?

Hazel,

I just sent you two e-mails. I thought I did a Body Rx vs BFL e-mail but I actually only did a summary of Body Rx. The people that I was e-mailing to already knew about BFL. So the two e-mails summarizes Body Rx.

I think BFL is easier to follow than Body Rx.

Helen

PS - cybil and Stephanie, I e-mailed both of you back too.

Helen, could you send me the Body Rx summary? I found the web site a bit confusing.

Thanks!
