Outgrowing the yellow ball?

I'm getting ready to cave on this purchase (full DVD set, and set of balls (green and red for sure, yellow?) with pump). Now that some of you have been working with this system for some time, have you found that you've outgrown the use of the yellow ball and have moved on to just using the green and red balls? I'm trying to figure out whether the yellow ball is worth purchasing or not... I'm fairly inflexible.

Thanks in advance for your input!

I gave away my yellow ball..

I dont think anyone really needs it unless they are very fragile.
The idea that the large ball is for beginners is a safety thing for people who might have injuries, inflamation or brittle bones. If you arent at risk of breaking your bones (osteoporosis) or damaging a muscle by massage (prior injury) ..
Beginner or not.. its not useful -

I have done ball rolling for a bout 3 years.. Never used yellow except when I went to certification training...

I have fibromyalgia, one condition which would be a a reason to start on yellow to see if one can roll without hurting themselves... still I dont need it.
Its expensive and not worth getting unless you are likely to get damaged by massage work.

out of (at least) 10 balls I have I only use the ones around 7-5 inches.

NO!!

its too big.

get the right thing first then know how to substitute.. Try the "fitball small release ball" if you want somethin other than Yamuna.

Large balls are for very fragile people.. smaller balls do the massage better

Hi Michele,
They are black. You could probably easily subsitute a rubber ball the size of a tennis ball for them.

you could also use the miracle balls instead of the yamuna calf balls... I think they are the same size.

Hi Stevie.. nice seeing you!
