Finally finished Week 4. Took me a little longer because of some unexpected rest days.

I am now able to do 10 pushups on my toes if push-ups are towards the beginning of the workout (I.e. I do the challenge before another workout).

I’m thinking about repeating the challenge.

Nice job, Kristie! That's a great accomplishment!

I didn't get to do it yesterday bc of an ocular migraine with aura that scared me enough to go to the eye doctor ASAP. So thankful my retinas look fine, eyes are healthy. I saw black spots after my kettlebell workout so stopped and didn't do anything else. Ran out of time today.

Linda, no, I'm pretty sure it was at least in part due to doing a tough workout after not drinking enough water over the wknd while we were out of town. I had a headache Sunday when I woke up, just a normal one, and took smthg for it so it never got bad. I have had an ocular migraine once before, after I did my first ever P90X workout about 8 or so years ago. Eating was all weird over the wknd too with fast food, gas station junk, Ren fest food. Just poor lifestyle choices for a few days!

Sidelined again today. Barely slept last night so I guess I'm making up for it today.

Vantreesta somehow missed your earlier posts but happy to read you're back to your normal self.

I had never heard of ocular migraines..sounds awful!

I get a piercing headache that feels like a knife jabbed from my eyeball to my brain at the back...is that what that is?

Thanks, Linda! Well, the two times I've had visual disturbances and been diagnosed by the eye doctor with ocular migraine, I didn't have migraine type pain. I don't remember if I had headache with the first one but the one last week was just mild pain across my forehead. When I have migraines they are in my left eye (same one that has had the aura both times) and feels like a bunch of tiny fists constantly punching my eye. I don't know, best way I've ever found to describe it. I picture tiny angry leprechauns taking out their anger over stolen gold on my head. My migraines aren't like any I've heard other people talk about so I call mine eyegraines. I have been fortunate so far that I can usually function through them. My mom, grandma and aunts have had really bad ones, I think even occasionally requiring a trip to the ER. I only take OTC pain relievers for them and can't lay flat if I have one.

Have you asked your doctor about your headaches? Do they happen often?

Nah..not often now. If I can go in the dark and lie down, the pain goes to dull throb and I muddle through. They were much worse, and occurred frequently when I ate things with red dye or used artificial sweeteners, or even stevia. When I eliminated all that, they diminished tremendously. My husband's convinced that I'm accidentally exposed to it when it occurs now.

That's great you found your triggers! My biggest one is dehydration, especially when combined with sun. When we were at Ren Fests last wknd I didn't drink enough water throughout the wknd and then did a tough workout on Monday so I think that triggered it. I knew I hadn't drank enough water but didn't consider that before the workout (did I already say this before??).
